COEFFICIENT: Frictional Percussion and Electronics (1991)

"COEFFICIENT: Frictional Percussion and Electronics" was written for the percussionist Michael Pugliese. It is a live electronic work, using electroacoustic transducers and special microphones. A variable feed-back system between the two elements is influenced and changed by the performance of the frictional sounds by a percussionist. A distinction is made between those sounds produced by friction and those produced by impact.
