WHAT'S NEW
- Welcome to the new domain - davidtudor.org - for
the Tudor Pages. There are many updates and adjustments that need to be
made on the pages so thanks in advance for your patience.
- Getty Research Institute (Los Angeles) who acquired
David Tudor's archive, has posted an online database of information
entitled "The
Art of David Tudor". The Getty Research Institute has also cataloged
the contents of the Tudor archive. Here is a direct link to the Getty's Tudor
Archive's Finding Aid.
- Check out the interesting story behind Robert Hauk's
recent "chance" aquisition of David Tudor's bandoneon in the stories
and anecdotes page.
- Visit the pages TABLE
OF CONTENTS which lists, alphabetically, all
the titles in this site. Any suggestions? Drop
us a line.
- A request from John Callan:
For the completion of my biography of David Tudor I would appreciate hearing
from anyone who has correspondence, programs, recollections, recipes and
other records of Tudor’s life, work, character, commitment to anthroposophy,
and other interests, especially after 1960. I would be particularly grateful
to hear from those who knew Tudor during his visits to India and Japan.
